<P>歼8II和歼6（远处），J8II是在J8基础上改为2侧进气、机头安装大功率雷达的高空高速歼击机，最大飞行速度2.2倍音速，最大飞行高度2万米。这架飞机是中美蜜月时期送到美国安装F16雷达和火控系统的飞机之一，后因89年天安门事件爆发，西方对中国军事禁运，该项改进计划搁置，送到美国的飞机在被扣留多年后才返回中国，但其技术性能已经被美国摸透。王伟被撞下时驾驶的就是这种飞机的改进型。在90年SU27引进之前，这是中国唯一的高性能战斗机。</P>
